I have made a series of teddy bear paintings for the Ramble in Wakkerstroom, which will be on display at the Papillon theatre. There are also a number of miniature & small landscapes for my table in Papillon. All these paintings are 8 x 8” or smaller.
Saturday 7 April 2012 is also the opening of my solo exhibition in the Gallery in Wakkerstroom Bistro, next to Papillon Theatre. This exhibition will be on display until the end of the month.

Zoo Lake
I have been invited to exhibit as a guest artist at Zoo Lake Artist Market (Artists Under the Sun) this Sunday, 1 April 2012. Come and see some of my latest paintings, and pop in for a chat, then browse around. There is some stunning work on display, with many good artists exhibiting. I shall be there from 9 am till 4pm, weather permitting!
WAKKERSTROOM
My exhibition in Wakkerstroom opens on 7 April 2012, and runs for a month. The opening of this exhibition co-incides with the Wakkerstroom Easter Ramble. All the shops and Restaurants in Wakkerstroom will be hosting different stalls on April 7.
My exhibition will be at Metamorphis Gallery, at The Bistro in Wakkerstroom. I shall also have a table in the Papillon Theatre, next to The Bistro, where I shall be exhibiting smaller works, on the 7th of April, only, alongside a number of interesting exhibits (such as glass work, Royal Doulton etc). BENONI EXHIBITION
On Friday, 4 May 2012, there will be an interesting Art Exhibition at Tim Hefer’s Gallery – Uncle Tim’s Centre, 40 high Road, Brentwood Park, Benoni. Six artists will be exhibiting a variety of paintings, 3 ladies, and 3 men. The exhibiting artists are: Ina Millman, Cheryl Curnick, Viv Mconie, Jaco La Grange, Renier Oosthuizen and Rodney Jardine.
Pop in from 6 o’clock in the evening for snacks and wine, and a viewing of some fine work. All welcome.
A reminder to my Randburg students: There is class this Saturday, 31 March 2012. Please bring an easel, if you have one, for this class, as I am unable to bring my easels this Saturday.

Evening classes will commence in the South of Jhb, Kibler Park, on Monday 2 April 2012. This is a small class – beginners are welcome.

An opportunity to see artist, Ina Millman, in action
INA MILLMAN will be giving a demonstration on Saturday 17 March. 2012, for The Paint and Palette Group in Edenvale at The Edenvale Recreation Centre, at 2 o’clock, in hall 5.
The demo is in oils, & is basically about problem solving. You will be shown how to approach a painting from start to finish. Ina will try to complete a painting in the short time available, but will also discuss how to paint backgrounds for various subjects, by using some of her paintings as examples. Ina will also discuss having a concept, seeing shape & tonal value. She will show you how to paint wet-into-wet, in oils.
All are welcome to attend this informative afternoon on painting. A fee is payable to the Paint & Palette Art Club, R25, which covers refreshments, or only R15 for members. This is an active, vibrant Art Club, worth supporting.
